About Betsy Lavin
“I simply love to create beautiful things and always had a sense of style and design.
I’ve been on this journey of discovery where I finally had to admit to myself that at age 56 it was time I embraced my life’s passion be an interior designer. I’ve been doing interior design unofficially all my life, but there was hunger inside me to make it real…to make it official.”
Dr. Betsy followed her dream and became a 2018 graduate of The Interior Design Institute. She loves to design all kinds of projects, large and small. From creating your home from the ground up or redecorating your home just one wall at a time, it’s all about making it beautiful for you.
She specializes in Christian themes when applicable and loves to create spaces that are classic, stylish and inviting.
What makes her unique in her design is her ability to relate one-to-one with you the client and identify exactly what you are looking for. Her previous training as a Christian life coach helps her to in specialize in personality traits where she readily connects your personality to your design style.
“I love creating a space that truly reflects the person and their family. It’s so fun to identify the specific personality traits from everyone and then make it a place where all feel comfortable and happy.”
Betsy lives with her husband Pete on a family farm in SW Minnesota. She readily admits that given a choice she would spend all of her time being grandma but since her son and family live in Ohio, she’ll just have to settle for designing here in MN, and that is a great place to be.
